Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, a jewellery shop owner tried to dupe by Ajjigang who conned the owner displaying fake jewellery and made him believe that those were genuine gold.
Jewellery shop owner Omprakash has registered a case against two men and a woman at Amruthahalli Police Station in this regard.
The two accused came to Omprakash’s Dhanalakshmi Jewellery shop around 12 noon on January 20 along with their grandmother. One of them introduced himself as Rahul and said that my daughter’s wedding is going on, so I have my mother’s old jewellery and thus need to buy new ones in exchange of the old. The owner of the shop cut one of the beads and sent it away saying that he would get it tested and then take it due to which he confirmed that it was fake gold.
