Bengaluru: BJP likely to release candidate list in April | Azad Times

Bengaluru: The BJP, like the Congress, is likely to release its first list of candidates in the first week of April as there is a local confusion over ticket distribution.

So far, only one meeting has been held in the BJP on the issue of selection of candidates. The Core Committee Meeting of the State Leaders has also not been held. The Delhi Leaders themselves are examining everything thoroughly. It is being said that some of the Core Committee Members are not guaranteed tickets. Hence, the BJP’s candidate selection exercise has now generated a lot of curiosity.

According to a source, the first list is likely to be published in the first week of April. It is learnt that some of the sitting MLAs are almost certain to lose the ticket.
