Bengaluru: Caste issue irrelevant in politics, says CM | Azad Times

Bengaluru: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai has said that Caste issue is irrelevant in politics.

He was speaking to the mediapersons in New Delhi on Monday February 6. “When we talk about what our party and do programmes, what people think and personal talk is not relevant,” he said.

Reacting to JD (S) Leader H. D. Kumaraswamy’s statement, he said, “He doesn’t have to worry about our party. Let the JD(S) first correct it’s party. “People are not concerned only about Brahmins,” he said.

Stating that he had come to Delhi to attend a wedding, the Chief Minister reacted to MLA Ramesh Jarakiholi’s meeting with him and said he would work as per the Law if he is given details.
