Bengaluru: Housing Minister V. Somanna has said that he has been asked by the Party High Command to remain silent for three months and get involved in the Assembly Elections to help win more seats in the old Mysuru region.

Speaking at the Vidhana Soudha on Thursday March 16, he said, “The discussions with Union Home Minister Amit Shah have been satisfactory. I’ve said what I had to say. Now I’ll do my job and added he would not talk about anyone.

Apart from Bengaluru, I have my own influence in many Districts including Mysuru, Chamarajanagara and Hassan. From Raichur to different parts of the State, I have won all the by-elections assigned to me. I have spoken to Amit Shah, B. L. Santosh, Pralhad Joshi, Dharmendra Pradhan and others. Now everything is all right, he added.
