Bengaluru: BJP which is witnessing an exodus of leaders is expected to witness more defections as the State Assembly Election is nearing. According to the Congress Leaders, many ministers who joined BJP as part of Operation Kamala in the year 2018 are expected to return to the party fold.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Congress Mandya Leader N. Cheluvaraya Swamy announced that Ministers S. T. Somashekar, Byrati Basavaraj, and others will join Congress once the Election Commission will announce State Assembly Election dates.

Many BJP leaders are holding discussion with Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) leadership on their re-entry and contesting election, he explained.

He also informed that Minister K. C. Narayana Gowda, and C. P. Yogeshwar, two Vokkaliga leaders of BJP are also in touch with the party.
