Bidar: Animal Husbandry Minister Prabhu B. Chavan said that for the overall development of the Taluk, a lot of development works including construction of roads, drinking water, schools and colleges are going on in all parts of the constituency. Everything has to be done properly. He warned that action would be taken against those involved if there was any fault in the work.

On Thursday February 9, he toured several villages in Aurad (B) and Kamlanagar Taluks and launched various development works and directed the officials to maintain standards.

Under Jal Jeevan Mission Scheme, 175.9 Lakh in Jambagi Village, Rs. 37 Lakh in Puma Tanda, Rs. 50.19 Lakh in Bhajaram Tanda, Rs. 22 Lakh in Kishannayak Tanda, Rs. 40.92 Lakh in Karwar Tanda, Rs. 91.16 Lakh in Border Tanda, Rs. 87.24 Lakh in Maharajawadi, Rs. 72.25 Lakh in Narayanpur and Rs 72.25 Lakh in Narayanapura.

Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said that the works have been taken up under the Jal Jeevan Mission to provide adequate drinking water to the rural people. Quality should be given top priority, he said.

The villagers should ensure that the work is done properly in their village. He instructed the officials that if the work is not done properly, they should not be taken over by the Department for any reason.
