Bidar: ‘Government with Basava principle will come to power’ | Azad Times

Bidar: JD (S) State President C. M. Ibrahim has promised to set up a separate Corporation for the Beda Jangamas as the goveyrnment which follows Basava Principles will come to power in the State in the coming days.

He was speaking at a Dharmasabha organised on the occasion of Niranjana Pattadhikara Mahotsava of Channamallavaru, the New Seer of Hudagi Village in the Taluk on Friday February 10. “Even if reservation is not given to the Jangamas, a Government which includes Basava principle will set up a separate Corporation for them. The setting up of Corporation will encourage them politically and educationally, he noted.

He said reservation should be given to Jangamas in food, shelter and jobs and when politicians go astray, the mathas should correct them and bring them back on track.

“Our Government will come to power in the State and it is certain that a Basava-principled Government will run the State,” he said adding that “I have put my son C. M. Faiz in the lap of the seers here and the people of the Constituency,” he said.
