Bidar: Heavy rain causes minor injuries to people | Azad Times

Bidar: The District received its first spell of rain this year on Thursday March 16. It rained for more than an hour in the afternoon, accompanied by strong winds and thunderstorms, throwing normal life out of gear.

The weather has been cloudy since morning and there was heavy rain in the afternoon. Trees have been uprooted in many parts of the District. A huge tree fell on the ground at Yaranalli village in Bidar Taluk and a Swift car and an auto parked near the Dargah were completely crushed.

Three people in the auto-rickshaw sustained minor injuries. Janwada Police have visited the spot.

Due to the heavy rains, all the major roads in the city were waterlogged. Water entered the low-lying areas and people suffered.
