Chamarajanagara: Workshop for Forest Officials organised | Azad Times

Chamarajanagara: A workshop was held on Tuesday February 7 for the officials and staff of the Biligiri Ranganathaswamy Temple Tiger Reserve (BRT) on the methods to be followed to control and extinguish the fire during a wildfire.

In a workshop held jointly by the BRT Tiger Reserve administration and Fire Department in Budipadaga of the Taluk, fire fighting equipment and their use were explained through a demonstration. In a function held earlier, District Fire Officer Naveen Kumar briefed the Forest Department Personnel about fire control, operations, communication and personal safety.

BRT Tiger Reserve DCF and Director Deepa J. Contractor spoke. Forest officials and staff from all sectors participated in the workshop.
