Chikkamagaluru: BJP National General Secretary C. T. Ravi has lashed out at the Congress over a different protest with Marigold on ears on Friday February 17.

Reacting to the protest by Congress Leaders in the Assembly during the Budget presentation, he said, “The BJP is ready to come back to power and the lotus will bloom again. The Congress should move around with a Marigold in their ears,” he said.

“The Congress Leaders decided to keep the Marigold on themselves before people could keep it on their ears,” he said.

“The Congress has indirectly admitted that the BJP will win. They wanted the welfare of the people of the State and hence they kept Marigold flower,” he said.

“The interest of the State lies with the BJP’s victory. I thank the Congress for wanting the interest of the State and for wanting the BJP’s victory,” he said.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai’s Budget is a Budget that reflects the aspirations. It is an all-encompassing, omnipresent Budget. Loans to farmers at zero interest rate of interest, Gruhani Shakti Yojana, infrastructure, and special schemes for irrigation have given new hope to the people. He said this is a Budget of hope for development of State.
