Dharawad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter to express his happiness over the qualitative change in the lives of the villagers of Neerasagara in Kalaghatagi Taluk of Dharawad Lok Sabha Constituency as part of the Jal Jeevan Mission campaign.
Union Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Mines and Coal Pralhad Joshi, who is also an MP from Dharawad Lok Sabha Constituency, took to his Twitter account to highlight the success of Jal Jeevan Mission in Dharawad District and shared his views on the qualitative change in the lives of Neerasagara villagers.
Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr. Suresh Itnala said that out of the 388 habitations in the District, Jal Jeevan Mission Project works have been completed in 284 habitations while the remaining 104 habitations are in progress. A total of Rs. 363 Crore has been released and Rs. 259 Crore has been spent so far, he said.
So far, 1,15,582 drinking water tap connections have been provided under the Jal Jeevan Mission, he added.
