Dharawad: The Office-bearers of the Dharawad District Working Journalists’ Association staged a silent protest in front of the Police Station after the Inspector of Kalaghatgi Police Station misbehaved with journalists who had gone to cover the Congress Prajadhvani programme.

Kalaghatgi Inspector S. S. Koujalagi had allegedly abused journalists and hence they staged a silent protest against the Inspector.

Meanwhile, the Police officials, who reached the spot, tried to pacify the journalists and the protesting journalists insisted that they would not give up their agitation till justice is done by taking action against the officer who was arrogant.
