Dharawad: ‘Peshwa should not become Chief Minister’ | Azad Times

Dharawad: Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy said, “I have not said that Brahmins should not become Chief Ministers but those who have a DNA of Peshwa should not become the Chief Minister.” He reiterated that he still stands by his statement.

Speaking to mediapersons in the City, he said, “The entire Brahmin community has not turned against me over the statement. No one is answering my question. I have asked a question. You have to answer that, he said.

“Let the Chief Minister be from any community but not the Peshwa Community,” he said.
