Dharawad: Public voluntarily paying after discount on traffic-related fines | Azad Times

Hubballi: As per the State Government’s order, motorists are taking advantage of the 50% discount given on e-challans for violating traffic rules.

In all, 57 cases had been filled against Suraj Singh Thakur, a resident of Hubballi and his vehicle KA 63 H 6837 following a 50% discount on payment of fines by the Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate. The fine amount was around Rs 28,500. As a discount
he paid a fine of Rs. 14,250.

East Traffic ASI B. B. Mayannavara and Shambhu Reddar, Kubera Karabari Traffic Police have collected the fine near the Old Court Circle in the City.

As Saturday February 11 is the last day to pay the fines, a lot of motorists are coming and paying the fines of their respective vehicles.
