Dharawad: A thief broke the shutter of Mahantappa Urban Co-operative Society on Quyin Road in Hubballi and broke the counter glass where the cashier was sitting and decamped with Rs. 2.31 Lakh from the locker.

However, without touching the gold ornaments in the locker, he snatched only the cash and stole the DVR of the CCTV camera in the bank and fled. However now the police have trapped them.
