FBOBOA (R) holds 1st Triennial General Council Meeting | Azad Times

Bengaluru: 1st Triennial General Council Meeting of Federation of Bank of Baroda Officers’ Association (R) (FBOBOA) affiliated to the mighty All India Bank Officers’ Confederation (AIBOC) having more than 3.20 lakh officers as its members across the country was held on 11th and 12th of March 2023 at Hotel Ramanashree Bangalore 356 delegates representing 18 Zones attended the meeting.

The Inaugural session was held at Jnana Jyothi Auditorium, Central College, K R Circle, Bangalore.

Shri Sudhakar D Nayak A, General Manager and Zonal Head, Bank of Baroda – Bengaluru Zone and Shri M Ravindra Rai, General Manager, Head – Gold Loan and Head – Sports Cell, Bank of Baroda were the chief guests for the Programme.

Keynote Address for the Conference was delivered by Shri Prasanna S, Advocate, Supreme Court of India.

Com. Rupam Roy, General Secretary All India Bank Officer’s’ Confederation addressed the conference and updated the forum about the recent developments in Banking Sector.

Com. Kishore E Kadam, President FBOBOA presided over the conference.

Tapas Kumar Ghosh, General Secretary FBOBOA proposed Vote of Thanks.

The Conference was attended by more than 1200 delegates across the country.

The veteran leaders of the federation and retiree’s were also present for the conference.

Election was held for the various posts and new committee for the Triennial Term 2023-26 was formed.

Team Lead by Shri Ajith Jha (General Secretary elect) emerged victorious.

Shri Niral Joyson Vaz from Mangalore was elected as Deputy General Secretary and Shri Sajith Chandran K was elected as Senior Vice President of the Federation.

The new committee also Co-opted Shri Rohan Preetham Casthelinho from Mangalore as Executive Committee Member of FBOBOA.

Shri Niral Joyson Vaz was recently elected as Zonal General Secretary, Managaluru zone for the 2nd Term in the recently concluded Zonal Conference of BOBOA Mangalore Zone on 05/02/2023.

Shri Sajith Chandran K was leading the Federation in the Capacity of Deputy General Secretary of the existing Central Secretariat. He has also served as the Vice President of Kerala State AIBOC before his transfer to Mangaluru Zone.
