Hassan: ETF staff escapes from attack of wild elephants | Azad Times

Hassan: In a shocking incident, a staff member who keeps an eye on the movement of Wild elephants in Sakleshpura Taluk was driven away near Kirehalli.

A herd of wild elephants is camping in Halasulige and Udewara Gram Panchayat limits of the Taluk and the Forest Department is keeping a close watch on the movement of the wild elephants.

Meanwhile, an ETF personnel was chased and howled by the wild elephants while they were crossing from one side to the other this afternoon.

When the ETF personnel announced through the microphone and alerted the driver of the car, immediately he got up and ran away, thus managing to save his life.

Not fearing their life ETF personnel are observing the movement of wild elephants and informing the locals.
