Hassan: Inadequate drainage system, residents struggle | Azad Times

Hassan: In the 5th Ward of K. R. Puram of the city, due to inadequate drainage system, the residents are struggling.

For the past several years, the residents have been informing the Municipal authorities about the sewage problem, but to no avail. The sewage water is overflowing and the polluted water is seeping into the house including the road causing environmental pollution.

The situation is similar around Jamboo Kids School.

According to the residents, this could be due to improper maintenance of UGD and cesspool of Gajanan Hotel.

The councillor of the ward informed them about this problem, but to no avail. The residents have demanded that the municipal officials immediately provide a solution to the problem.
