Hassan: The JD (S) Leaders, who were staunch supporters of JD (S ) for decades and were considered close to Former Minister H. D. Revanna, quit the JD(S) in Holenarasipura and joined the Congress under the leadership of Congress Leader D. K. Suresh.

Former Municipal President Puttaraju, Leader Ole Kumar and more than 100 prominent JD (S) Leaders have decided to leave Revanna’s association and join handswith Congress.

The JD (S) Leaders were welcomed into the Congress by presenting the Congress Flag in the presence of D. K. Suresh at the residence of Shreyas Patel, grandson of late Congress Leader Puttaswamy Gowda.

Speaking on the occasion, D. K. Suresh said, “If you look at the Congress workers here, you will get love and respect. The people here, who have suffered for decades, have swallowed the pain and are showing loyalty. The people here are coming out of slavery. The Congress party and I will always be committed to you to save the voters from the arrogance and oppression of the JD (S) family,” he said.
