Hassan: Soldier dies by suicide after taking leave from duty | Azad Times

Hassan: A soldier serving in the Indian Army died by suicide at Hampanaguppe Village in Alur taluk of Hassan District.

The deceased has been identified as H. Yogesh (28), the second son of Harish, a farmer from the Village. The exact reason for the suicide is yet to be ascertained.

Yogesh, who had come to the Village on January 4 after taking leave from duty had been living happily with his wife Deeksha and family for over a month.

It was around 10.00 am on Tuesday February 14, but the door of the room where Yogesh was sleeping was not opened. Yogesh was found hanging when the family members broke the door, as the door was not opened despite the family’s calls.

The family immediately rushed him to the District hospital. The doctors examined him and said that the soldier yogesh was brought dead.

The body of the deceased soldier was brought to Hampanaguppe Village on the night of Tuesday, sources said.
