Khan has applauded India by saying that no superpower can dictate terms to India. None of the superpowers has the audacity to speak against India.
Islamabad: Imran Khan, the beleaguered prime minister of Pakistan who believed to lose the trust vote which is scheduled to be held today in the Pakistan parliament, addressed the nation on Friday which could become his last address to the nation as PM if he loses the government in the not trust vote.

During his address to the nation, Khan has applauded India by saying that no superpower can dictate terms to India. PM Imran mentioned that India got its independence from Britain at the same time as Pakistan, but still, none of the superpowers has the audacity to speak against India. “When every other nation is imposing sanctions against Russia, India is buying crude from Russia, citing its needs,” PM Imran Khan said. The Prime Minister also said that he was disappointed by the verdict of Pakistan Supreme Court, which set aside NA Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri’s ruling to dismiss the no-trust resolution against him and the subsequent dissolution of the lower house of parliament by President Arif Alvi on the Prime Minister’s advice. On Thursday, Pakistan Supreme Court restored the National Assembly after it declared the government’s decision to dissolve the assembly and NA Deputy Speaker Qasim Suri’s ruling against the Constitution. The top court of Pakistan ordered National Assembly Speaker Asad Qasier to summon the session on April 9 and not later than 10:30 am, to allow vote on the no-confidence motion against the premier.

Though some reports suggest that Khan may move a review petition in the SC, the experts believe that his application is expected to be rejected. Forcing Khan either to face the trust vote or resign from the post before the voting itself.

If he loses the vote, then Khan will become the first PM of Pakistan to be removed from the important post through no-confidence motion.
