Kalaburagi: Fire breaks out at KCC Building | Azad Times

Kalaburagi: A fire broke out in an old building of the Kalaburagi City Corporation (KCC) here on Saturday April 1 due to a short circuit, destroying important documents in the Accounts Branch.

The first floor of the old building had not been used for the last few years. There were records related to accounting kept there. The building was being converted into an office of the returning officer of Kalaburagi South Constituency in view of the Assembly elections.

The furniture and documents in the room were gutted in fire, officials said.
