Kalaburagi: ‘Seven to eight BJP MLAs will join Congress soon’ | Azad Times

Kalaburagi: Former Minister M. B. Patil said that as the elections are approaching, there will be a big stir in the State. Seven to eight BJP MLAs will join the Congress, he stressed.

Speaking to mediapersons, he said that the selection of winning MLAs in the Congress is also going on. The constituencies where sitting MLAs will lose have been identified, he said.

“There are chances that four or five people will lose. Everything is decided by the Screening Committee,” he said.

“The Chief Ministerial candidate will be selected after the Legislature Meeting. Internal democracy is surely to be followed. There are no confusions. A lot of candidates are capable of becoming CM. Only time will answer everything,” he said.
