Karawar: Road accident, Assistant Professor at Bantakallu College dies | Azad Times

Karawar: Ananthesh Rao (40), a Senior Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Department of Sri Madhwa Vadiraja Technical College in Bantakallu, was killed in a road accident in Honnavar between a car and a container on Friday March 17.

He was on his way from Udupi to Sode Moola Matha when his car rammed into a container near Honnavara. He sustained serious injuries and died on the spot. He is survived by his wife Sripriya Ananthesh, Principal of M. V. Shetty Allied Health Sciences College, Mangaluru, and a son.

President of the Institute Sode Mutt Seer Sri Vishwavallabha Theertha Sripada, Secretary Rathnakumar, Principal Dr. Thirumaleshwara Bhat, and Vice-Principal Ganesh Aithal expressed condolences.
