Karwar: Ankola MLA Rupali S. Naik said that she has taken up the works required by the people on priority like roads, drinking water and so on.
She was speaking after laying the foundation stone for various works in Chendiya and Thoduru Gram Panchayats of the Taluk in Uttara Kannada District on Sunday February 12.
More than Rs. 14 Crore has been sanctioned for many roads, retaining walls and other works in Chendia. The people here were facing a lot of problems. I am providing a solution to all that. The works should be completed expeditiously. The works required by the people have been provided, she said and promised to do the necessary works for the people in the future as well.
“Our Government has also provided grants for the salt water barrier. Former Chief Minister B. S. Yediyurappa, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai and Minor Irrigation Minister Madhuswamy have taken the initiative and provided funds,” she noted.
