Karwar: Man questioned in PSI scam resorts to suicide | Azad Times

Karwar: A man, who was questioned in connection with the recent illegal Police Recruitment Scam in the State, committed suicide in Nelamavu Herur Village.

Ganapathi Bhat (55) is the man who resorted to suicide. The deceased was working as the President of the Nelamavu Seva Sahakari Sangha. He was earlier taken into custody by the Bengaluru Police in connection with the PSI recruitment scam in the State and released after a few days of questioning.

He then stayed back in his Village. It is learnt that he was appearing for questioning even now. He has now committed suicide over some issue.

Siddapura Police have visited the spot and are investigating. However, the exact reason for his suicide is yet to be ascertained.
