Kasaragod: Shawl entangles in machine, labourer dies | Azad Times

Kasaragod: In a tragic incident, a labourer died after being hit by machine on her birthday at Manjeshwara Thoominadu in Kasaragod on Saturday February 11.

The deceased has been identified as Jayasheela (24), a resident of Ranjan near Kunjathur Government High School. The incident took place when the worker of a bakery in Thoominadu was working as usual at the bakery when a churidhar shawl hit the machine. Jayasheela, who was in a critical condition, was rushed to the hospital by those present but his life could not be saved.

She got married a year-and-a-half ago. The body has been kept at Manjeshwar Taluk Hospital for postmortem.
