Kolar: Reacting to Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s Statement that the JD (S) will not get a majority, JD (S) State President C. M. Ibrahim said that it is like an answer given by a patient when a doctor asks him what is his last wish for a person who is dying of fear of losing, he said.

Speaking to mediapersons in the City on Tuesday February 14, he mocked Siddaramaiah for being trapped in Kolar between Local Leader Kuruba Varthur Prakash and another strong JD (S) Leader after listening to some brainless people, he noted.

“Siddaramaiah is a good friend of mine and let him contest from a good place,” Ibrahim said, adding that if he was asked where Siddaramaiah should contest from, I will not say it publicly, he said.

“Siddaramaiah had said that he would win by a margin of 30,000 votes in Chamundeshwari. Even then, I advised him not to contest. When 10 days were left for elections, he had told me that he would be defeated and that all of them were united to defeat him, he recollected.

“During that time, I had assured Siddaramaiah “Don’t give up, we’re all there. He further said “I have donated Rs. 60 Lakh for Siddaramaiah for election expenses. Rs. 30 Lakh by selling the plot. If I had listened to Deve Gowda that day, Siddaramaiah would not have been there today,” he regretted.
