Koppal: Two assault each other for trivial issue | Azad Times

Koppal: Two youth sustained fatal injuries in a clash between two groups of youth over a trivial issue near Vidyanagar on Gangavathi – Raichur road on the evening Sunday March 19.

Maruthi (28) and Bharath (24) suffered serious head injuries and have been referred to KIMS, Hubballi for further treatment. Another injured, Bharath, is being treated in the intensive care unit of Gangavathi Government Hospital.

A fight broke out between two groups of youth who had participated in the naming ceremony at a house in Jayanagar over a trivial issue. When two of the youth were on their way to Vidyanagar on a bike they were hit by another group of youth with deadly weapons and stones. Maruthi and Bharat sustained severe head injuries and are critical.
