Mangaluru: Car crashes into 50-feet after hitting 2 electric poles, 1 killed | Azad Times

Mangaluru: One person was killed in a road accident near Santyar in Puttur of the District on the night of Tuesday February 14.

The accident took place at Balakka near Santyar on the Santaru Bettampadi Road when the car rammed into two electric poles and fell into a 50-feet-deep garden.

Ford Figo car of KA 21 P 5049 registration was on its way to Bettampadi when two electric poles met with an accident and fell into the garden.

Locals immediately rushed the injured to the hosypital. Nidpalli Gram Panchayat Member Muralidhar Bhat Nidpalli died in the accident.

The occupants of the car have been identified as Dilip Kumar, Shashikumar, Navaneeth and Muralidhar Bhat Mundur of Bettampadi.
