Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District Congress Minority Cell President K. K. Shahul Hameed said, “While the Congress has a history of martyrs who saved the Country by sacrificing its leaders, the BJP has a history of building the party at the cost of its workers. He said this was the biggest difference between the Congress and the BJP.”

Speaking at a public meeting at Lorettopadavu junction on the sixth day of the Bantwal Prajadhvani Yatra led by Former Minister B. Ramanath Rai on Thursday March 16, he said the Congress party is credited with building a Country that was torn apart in the hands of the kings into one Nation under the Tricolour Flag. If you look at the sacrifices and work done by the Congress Party for this Country, the people cannot vote for any other party, he said.

“This time, the Congress is leading in all the polls. Surveys have also revealed the victory of the Ramananda Rai. Shahul Hameed said that the Congress Government had taken 50 years to raise the price of one cylinder by a small amount, while the BJP had crossed thousands of rupees in just seven years,” he said.
