Mangaluru: Gold transported in private parts in MIA | Azad Times

Mangaluru: The Customs Officials have detected the illegal transportation of gold worth Rs. 1,08,28,240 at the Mangaluru International Airport.

Between February 16 and 28, a woman and six men were found to be smuggling gold. Officials have informed that the accused had pasted the gold, fitted it in a T-shirt, hid it in the rectum and transported it.

Customs officials said the smuggled gold has been seized and legal action has been taken against the accused.
