The height of the Gadayikallu is 1700 feet. Now in another milestone Kothi Raj arrived in Karkala, popularly known as the land of ‘Kariyakallu’, on Wednesday February 15 and climbed the 130-feet-high Samriddhi Hills building at Salmara in the City, which had been stalled midway due to the curtailment of work several years ago and hoisted the National Flag.

Kothiraj, who has nine-member team with him, has been organising his adventure story in every Taluk across the State. For the same, he has chosen historical high altitudes, old and new buildings. He climbs the heights in a jiffy, leaving the onlookers stunned.

Pawan Jose, Basavaraj, Lingaraj, Madan, Pawan Kumar, Abhi Naveen, Rajashekar and others from Chitradurga are part of Kothiraju’s team. While Pawan Jose is a lawyer, Basavaraj runs a business. Reason for the performance

The Adventure Monkey Club has been set up by the students and athletes competing in the wall climbing competition selected for the Olympics. In order to raise funds for the same, wall climbing is being performed all over Karnataka.

Speaking on the occasion, Jyothiraj said, “I weigh 85 kg and it’s not a big adventure. My talent should be showcased across the State. After completing the adventure of Gadayikallu in Belthangady Taluk, I have come to Karkala Taluk to give the second performance. Chitradurga Fort is the inspiration for wall climbing. I have been performing with the permission of various departments, including the Police Department, the local administration and the building owners. The response from the people has been good,” he said.
