Mangaluru: Krishna stone transported from Karkala to Ayodhya | Azad Times

Mangaluru: Nellikaru Krishna stone was transported from Motaje in Edu Village of Karkala Taluk to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Sri Ramachandra, on the foothills of the Western Ghats.

It is learnt that a huge stone was taken from Nellikaru on Thursday March 16 for the construction of the statue of Lord Ram in Ayodhya.

The stone, about 9 feet long, was transported from Motaje in Edu Village.

By nightfall, it was taken from Bajagoli Ayyappa Temple.
