Mangaluru: Licence mandatory for selling tobacco products | Azad Times

Mangaluru: The sale of tobacco products including cigarettes, will be made mandatory and the sale of tobacco products will be curbed.

Since tobacco products cause cancer and such products are easily available in the hands of the public including youth, it has been decided to introduce a mandatory rule of licensing on the lines of excise to control it.

Licences from the local body and all concerned departments will be mandatory.
