Mangaluru: MP Kateel thanks PM for developing City Railway Station | Azad Times

Mangaluru: BJP State President and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel has congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Railway Minister Ashwin Vaishnav for selecting Mangaluru Central, Mangaluru Junction and Bantwal Railway Stations to be developed under the Amrut Bharat Station Scheme.

The Central Government, which has made a bumper offer by providing a record Rs. 7,561 Crore grant to State in this year’s Union Budget, has already initiated a techno-economic feasibility study on the development of Mangaluru Central Railway Station.

In a press release, he stated that the allocation for State Railway Projects during this year has increased by nine times as compared to 2014.
