Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada District Congress Election Campaign Committee President Bharath Mundodi appealed to the people of Bantwal that the 2018 election results should not be repeated in Bantwal. He said not to create a situation where the people of the State will lose Ramanath Rai, who is an efficient, honest and great politician.

Speaking at a public meeting at Kanyana Junction on the ninth day of the “Bantwal Prajadhvani” Yatra being led by Former Minister B. Ramanath Rai on Saturday March 18, he said, “Apart from practising one’s religion, respect other religions and never support communal sentiments in the society. It is fatal for all communities,” he said.

“The victory of Ramanath Rai is not just the victory of the people of Bantwal. It will be a victory for the people of Dakshina Kannada District. “Politics is for the development of the Constituency and not for emotional ranting,” he said.
