Mangaluru: Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committe (KPCC) Spokesperson and Advocate Sudhir Kumar Marolli said that Ramanath Rai, a six-time MLA and Minister from Bantwal Constituency, was a Leader who showed how development can be done for all the MLAs and he did politics for humanity rather than vote share.
He was speaking at a public meeting held at N.C. Road junction in Bantwal Prajadhvani Yatra. “Sunil Kumar who is of Ghodse’s descendants used to come to Bantwal, while the Congress is a descendant of Gandhi and the same. Even before Annamalai joined the BJP, I had called him an agent of the BJP, he said.
He said that during the last election of Ramanath Rai, his heroic politics should be given a loving gift of victory and honesty.
Former Minister B. Ramanath Rai said, “The BJP, which has never worked for the poor, is worried about how they will get money for the pro-people schemes announced by the Congress and we will somehow implement Gruhayothi, Gruhalakshmi Lakshmi, and Annabhagya.”
He said he had worked hard as a six-time MLA and a Minister and was saddened by the way he was defeated in the last elections.
