 Student scores lower marks than expected, ends life

Mangaluru: A teen ended her life after scoring less than desired scores on an exam.

The deceased has been identified as Khatija Reena (16), a resident of Tipu Sultan Nagar in Kudroli.

She was studying PUC in a private college. It is alleged that she made her mother a promise that she would do well on the exam. She didn’t receive the expected marks. It is learned that she was mentally disturbed by this.

A case has been registered at Mangaluru North Police Station.
