Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a youth from Manila was killed in a bike accident near Adyar here.

The deceased has been identified as Karthik Maniyani (24), son of Gopalakrishna Maniyani, a resident of Pakalakunja Balekana in Manila Village of Bantwala.

Karthik, who worked as a decoration worker in Mangaluru, was returning home from work when the accident occurred near Adyar.

He is survived by his mother Sudhamani and a brother.
