 Jansangram Parishad protests against poor road works

Mysuru: A protest was held by Janasangrama Parishat in Nanjanagudu against the poor road works.

The protest was held at Gautama Layout in Nanjanagudu and Buddha Nagara Residents’ Action Committee and Janasangrama Parishad, raised slogans against the officials.

Janasangrama Parishad State President Nagarle M. Vijayakumar said that they have been doing concrete road and drainage works for the last two years but are yet to complete. “Houses too have been constructed illegally. If our demands are not met within 15 days, we will lay siege to the Municipal Corporation and stage a massive protest and demand that the two contractors be blacklisted,” he said.

A memorandum was also submitted to the Deputy Commissioner through the Tahasildar.
