Dharawad: Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Coal and Mines Pralhad Joshi said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of the IIT building and other major projects in the State and the Centre at 3.00 pm on March 11.

Reviewing the construction work of the new building of IIT Mummigatti on Saturday February 25, he said that the CEO of the building company of IIT has been asked to complete the remaining work at the earliest. The event will be attended by 1 lakh people.

MLAs Amrit Desai, Chandrakanth Bellada, Open Area Development Board Chairman Thavanappa Ashtagi, Mayor Eresh Anchatageri, Deputy Commissioner Gurudatta Hegde, Superintendent of Police Lokesh Jagalasar, Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Dr. Suresh Itnala, IIT’s new Director Professor Venkapayya Desai and others were present.
