Udupi: Famous musicians die on the same day | Azad Times

Udupi: The incident took place at Devadigarabettu in Brahmavar Taluk on Thursday February 16, when the elder brother and his younger brother died on the same day.

The deceased have been identified as Raghavendra alias Mona (40) and Ganesh Devadiga (51), sons of Devadigabettu Raghunatha Devadiga and Sumathi Devadiga.

Raghavendra alias Mona passed away on the morning of Thursday February 16 after a brief illness and Ganesh Devadiga died in the afternoon after hearing the death news of his brother. They both lived in the same house.

Both of them are well-known in instrumental music across the Country and the entire Village is mourning the death of two brothers who stopped playing the music on the same day. In particular, the cries of the family have reached a crescendo.
