Udupi: Five students detained in Manipal for consuming ganja | Azad Times

Udupi: Five students were detained by the Police for allegedly consuming ganja at a public place near Mandavi Emerald Apartments in Manipal of the District.

The arrested students have been identified as 22-year-old Nikhil M., 25-year-old Tanveer Reddy, 22-year-old Sharan Shetty, 21-year-old Rahul Seema and 21-year-old Tusharji.

Manipal Police Station Sub-Inspector Naveen Naik said that the students were found to have consumed ganja while they were on rounds duty. On Wednesday March 22, a report received by the Police confirmed that the five students had consumed ganja.

A case has been registered at Manipal Police Station in this regard.
