Udupi: The government has announced free travel in government buses for the women All over the state, but 17 taluk has private buses running, in this place there will be a loss for the woman travellers for sure, so if the government allows the same system for the private buses, then free travel can be applicable says City Bus Association.

Congress promises are to be seen all over the state, transport minister, Ramalinga Reddy, announces free travel for the women across the state. But in our state not just the government, even the private busses are also on road, there are chances for the women to face difficulties here, there is 17 taluks, where there is private bus transport, hence the Government should take serious action says Ex Secretary Sunil Kumar.

Speaking to media people, The Union President, Suresh Nayak said that there is a possibility for the private busses also for the free travel. Just like how the Government took the action with the government buses, other than Diesel Subsidy and bus pass expenses, Government should take serious initiative, As more people  move around in private buses in coastal region.
