Udupi: Heavy rain, car hits tree at Andaru | Azad Times

Udupi: In a tragic incident, a vehicle in which the passengers were returning home after a pilgrimage lost control of the driver and rammed into a tree at Andaru.

Going from Dharmasthala towards Karwar, a Bolora jeep rammed into a tree in Andar around 4.00 am, injuring six passengers on board.

The staff of the 108 ambulance, who received information about the incident, rushed the injured to KMC Hospital in Manipal.

It is learnt that the vehicle met with an accident on Sunday due to heavy rains.
