Udupi: Man duped of thousands of rupees | Azad Times

Udupi: A man has been duped of thousands of rupees online in an incident of cheating.

The duped Harish S. is working in the Health Department. He is a native of Udupi. He had an account with the bank. Unidentified persons had noticed that the money had been deposited in the bank. On Saturday February 11, he sent a link to his mobile phone and obtained the bank details and transferred a total of Rs. 99,999, including Rs. 1,499 and Rs. 98,500, from his account online.

A case has been registered at CEN Police Station.
