Udupi: National highway drain water in flows into fields | Azad Times

Udupi: During thework of Nh-66, which passes through Mullikatte in Hosadu village of Byandur Assembly constituency, the flow of sewage water flowing along the National Highway was diverted to the ditch connecting Hosadu.

The farmers have alleged that for the past two years, the people’s representatives and officials have not responded to the farmers’ demand for steps to divert the flow of sewage water from the National Highway into the Arate Sauparnika river. The farmers have demanded that steps should be taken to divert the national highway drain water to Sauparnika river even before the onset of rains.
