Vijayapura: Man, cattle dies in lightning | Azad Times

Vijayapura: A farmer and cattle were killed and another injured when lightning struck in District.

The District has been experiencing thunderstorms, and gusty winds since midnight of Wednesday March 15.

As a result, Basavaraj Hanamantha Hamari and Sangappa Hanamantha Hamari, young farmers of Sangapura S. H. of Babaleshwar Taluk were seriously injured while covering the wheat heap from the rain. They were admitted to the hospital. However, Basavaraj (27) died.

A bull belonging to Bauramma Hiremath of the same village died after being struck by lightning.
