Udupi: Vishwakarma Jayanti Celebration at Kapu Kalikamba Temple Organized today by Taluk Administration and Department of Kannada and Culture.
MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty took part in the event and highlighted that Vishwakarma is revered as the deity overseeing the five karmas. He emphasized the Vishwakarma Samaj’s commitment to a virtuous and harmonious tradition. Shetty also mentioned the recent launch of the PM Vishwakarma Yojana by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the event, attendees included Sekhar Acharya, Managing Director of Kapu Sri Kalikamba Temple, Mokthesar Naveen Acharya from Katapadi Venugiri Kalikamba Vishwakarmaswara Temple Administration in Padubidri, as well as representatives from the Vishwakarma Sangha (Retd.) from both the Undivided Dakshina Kannada District and Udupi District.
Among those in attendance were President Mulki Madhu Acharya, Biliyar Sudhakar Acharya, President of Kapu Vishwa Brahmin Yuva Sangathan, Champi Dinesh Acharya, Lecturer at Murudeshwara R.N. Shetty Polytechnic College, along with Nagaraj Naikada, Tahsildar of Kapu, and various taluk-level officials.
